winter boots?!

Hi I rarely venture over here so be gentle with me! I have decided I need a decent pair of boots this year so have saved up about £150, with the hope that they would do me 2 winters.

I have 3 conditions for some new boots
1 - Keep me Warm & Dry
2- Go with anything (within reason)
3- Comfortable for walking as we don?t have a car and walk everywhere.

I have found 3 pairs which i think will match up but cannot decide between them.

Could you lovely fashionable ladies help?

choice 1

choice 2

oh number 3 definately, but I also like number 1 because they are loads cheaper and nearly as nice. Number 2 is not as versatile ie not so smart, but probably the warmest.

Hi, everyone looking for boots today! I prefer the riding boot, but wonder whether they would be strong enough for every day. I can't link at the moment but have you looked at the Timberland site? They have dome nice looking boots in your price range.

Love number three!

Have you had a look at the Clarks website?

This pair is similar to link 3.

If you enter BTS2010 at checkout before October 3rd you get 20% off and delivery is free. That makes the boots just £80.00. If you could add £10.00 to your £150.00 budget you could buy a black pair too. Grin

I like them all Smile but own number 2. I love them and they're very toasty! The faux fur cuff goes down a couple of inches, then the rest is a warm thinsulate lining.

Love No 3 :) They are very similar to a pair I have and I wear them with everything.

I can hunt out a La Redoute discount code for you later.

AlphaMummy ~ Which pair did you go for, if any?

owlicecream · 30/09/2010 19:55

I have a pair like no 3. They are not an all weather boot but very nice. I have a different Cat pair (Anna) and they are fantastically practical but not the most stylish. So option 1 is possibly a good compromise?

Hi thanks for all your advice.

I cant spend £150 on one pair boots i just cant do it!!

So have decided that i will get option 2 and look on ebay for some cheaper but same style as option 3 riding boots!

So i can have 2 pairs for under £150!

I have spent so many days looking at boots my brain has gone fuzzy! :)
