where can I find wide leg black jogging/sweat pants please?

Been all round the shops and everyone sells skinny little leggings - not a good look for women with footballer's legs!
Not needed for sport - I want them to work in as I work from home at a computer all day and leaning forward in tailored trousers gets uncomfortable. Ideally looking for cotton jersey black wide leg trousers that are smart(ish) enough not to have to change out of for the school run.
And don't cost the earth. I see other people in them all the time. Where do they get them?
Can any of you wise women help? thanks

Do you mean something like this? They look a bit smarter than sweat pants but are still jersey.

Primark have some wide leg velour tracky bottoms which are very nice for £4

noddyholder · 27/09/2010 12:34

I have some like that from american apparel

HotchpotchHoney · 27/09/2010 12:36

i brought some from sainsburys, they are really soft black cotton/lycra (stretchy) and were only £4 i think. they have washed really well, i wear them for walking the dogs in the winter and watching my boys play football and rugby but they are smart enough to not scream sportswear.

Sports World? Lousy customer service, but very good, reasonably priced range of goods.

I have some from Intimo that are so very soft and comfortable that they feel like they should be pajamas but actually look good if you wear them out. They are also iron free (just hang them up straight from the machine. I'm in Aus though, so not sure whether you get them there.

Going to try my first ever link below Smile

TKMaxx have lots in the sportswear dept.

Some are more sporty than others IYSWIM. I think the ones I bought were made by a Yoga company and are really comfortable.

GetOrfMoiLand · 27/09/2010 12:49

I agree with the Sainsbos ones - I have some black ones and they are of a very thick cotton jersey, and are very comfortable indeed. Highly recommended.

ALittleLemonTwist · 27/09/2010 14:39

Another one for the Saninsbos ones. Impressed with the quality for only £4ish

realitychick · 27/09/2010 16:42

Thanks everyone. I'll go and check out the Sainsbos ones first and if they don't fit will try the other places.

White Co are very stretchy and keep their shape well.

SoLongAsItsHealthy · 27/09/2010 22:54

I ordered the White Co. ones above a few days ago, am waiting for them to arrive. My brief was the same as yours. Will let you know how I get on Smile
