ive been to the last two years its a meal then disco - all free and open bar til 12am. i usually wear an ok dress and nice heels look ok i think but nothing WOW.

I have always just sort of blended into the background at work and i feel like i want to be a different person for this one night this year and make an impression and stand out for once.

i dont know how though!!

p.s. i dont drink very much and always know my limit so there isnt any chance of me overdoing the drink and making a BAD impression Wink

okay, whats your:
budget
size
general style
body shape
age

this would help with ideas.

ok...

budget - not big - no more than around £50 for dress and shoes
size - 10-12
general style - dont really have one. i dont like conventional fashion really. i like delicate looking things with nice detail but not ever the top.
body shape - between athletic and boyish. dont really have hips im more sort of just slim and straight. i have a nice curvy bum though which i sticks out and i love it
age - 26

i have blonde hair and blue eyes not really sure what colours suit me other than blue.

here are a few dresses that i quite like but i dont know if they are a bit plain or boring or not very 'impression making'...

I think they are a bit too much, but then you're v young and can wear whatever you like. I think I'd go more for good hairstyle and makeup and nothing too much out of the ordinray for you for clothes. In this way you'd feel confident which would allow you to make more of an impact than any clothes.
