Can someone please recommend a hairdryer with diffuser?

Hi. I need a new hairdryer with diffuser for longish curley hair. The cost of these seem to vary enourmously so before I buy can someone recommend one? In my hairdresser they have a very small diffuser where you massage the prongs in your hair. I am not sure this is what I call a diffuser. I am thinking more of a much larger attachment where your hair kind of sits in it to get an all over dry.(I used to have a baby bliss - sure shot which is more like what I think I am looking for). I am not sure if I need one with lots of heat settings etc (my current one has about 10 permutations as I have never managed to work out what I am supposed to be doing with this). Has anyone got one they can recommend? Thanks very much

Parlux all the way. It will last you years. I've had mine for 15 now and I use it every single day!!!

I find having lots of permutations is pointless. Realistically, you'll only use two of them. Keep it simple and top quality.

This hairdryer with the diffuser will work for your curly hair.

If you fancy straight hair you'll be able to use the nozzle and do it very quickly with a combination of very fast very hot temperature. Standard hairdryers don't really achieve this combination of temperature and speed, so go for professional.

Read this post with interest as after years of straightening my poor hair, I am thinking of getting a cut and returning to my natural curly state. Are diffusers easy to use and do they help create curls and lessen frizz?

yes and yes! It is just a case of which one.

Thanks, goingback. Really am so sick of having to use straightners every other day that I am not quite tempted to give this a go.
