How to look feminine in my tan brogue ankle boots?

Hi, I was looking for some flat ankle boots and fell for these beautiful Pied a Terre tan brogue ankle boots.

Thing is I struggle to put together interesting outfits and tend to look boring most of time. So these feel a little too stylish for me.

I'm going to wear them with jeans but would be interested to see how else I could put them into a 'look'.

Lovely boots - they would look lovely with 7/8 length jeans I think or rolled up skinnies - it would be a shame to hide them under your jeans.
I would also wear with leggings and dress/tunic top.
Maybe you could experiment with not doing the laces right up to the top and letting the sides/tongue fold over a bit? Maybe add some chunky woollen socks over your tights too for a sort of landgirl look with printed teadress and longline cardy.
If you are stuck for ideas why not have a trawl of somewhere like ASOS to see how they style these sorts of boots and how that fits with your existing style.

Lovely boots (wish they went down to my size) - definitely try them with skirts/dresses/leggings to show them off. Eshermummy is a fashion expert so her advice is worth taking!

gosh Florence, I'm no expert Blush
I would be so embarrassed if any of you lot saw me in rl - I talk a good game but am a bit all mouth and no 3/4 length peg trousers. Wink

these would look good with your lovely boots

I dunno how "feminine" it would be though

I think those kind of boots look really nice when you put them with something very flouncy/feminine like a mid-calf length tiered skirt perhaps.

this look is also nice if you can wear minis.

They are lovely boots, I'm quite Envy

Hey Thanks girls for all the great advice. I am in awe of all you ladies out there who really know how to dress.
I could do with a personal stylist really. If I had the cash for that type of thing.
Might go in to John Lewis and consult the personal shopper.

Will attempt leggings and like the chunky wool socks over tights idea.

Hmmm interesting. . .
