Don't know, site looks ok but no pics of the sole or the branding on the back of the heel?

lambethlil · 21/09/2010 15:38

Pretty sure not- the contact us address is a gmail

sowhatis · 21/09/2010 15:39

im doubting it, they look the part, but who is to say thats what turns up, and for £63 id be v dubious. Even on cloggs (where i get mine....and lots of other shoes!) they are £199.

FoghornLeghorn · 21/09/2010 15:42

The fur looks different to that on genuine Uggs - I would say not

faustina · 21/09/2010 15:59

I wouldn't buy from a site that didn't have an address or a telephone number

fizzytree · 21/09/2010 16:08

Ugg should have affiliated list of retailers if you go on their main site.

sapphireblue · 21/09/2010 16:33

They do have the Ugg label across the heel and beanded into the sole. I'm dubious though.

GeekOfTheWeek · 21/09/2010 16:38

No they are fake.

My sis bought from here and they were seized by customs Shock

FoghornLeghorn · 21/09/2010 16:52

Shock Geek !

Well I think that's enough to put anyone off unless they're not fussed about losing their money

MmeLindt · 21/09/2010 16:55

Do be careful with Uggs website. I almost bought boots last year but noticed that the website was a bit strange.

Try googling the website address. When I did that I could see that the website was registered in China.

hobbittoes · 21/09/2010 16:56

Golly geek that's awfull!!! Are they using genuine uGg footage do you think? ---- They do look a bit too good to be true at that price.

OP posts:
detoxdiva · 21/09/2010 17:09

You can't buy genuine Uggs for that price. Anywhere.

MmeLindt · 21/09/2010 17:14

Advice here including check of website.

Fimbo · 21/09/2010 17:23

I couldn't see the padlock sign on the site either.

Pioneer · 21/09/2010 17:35

Agree with detoxdiva - the mark up is small on Uggs so the company would probably be losing money to sell them at that price.

TBH I always buy my Uggs from a store - at least you can guarantee they are genuine.

Would be very wary of the "gmail" email address too.......

bethjeff · 21/09/2010 18:01

Anything can be advertised as an 'Ugg' boot as an Ugg boot is the type of footwear that it is.

Thus New look, M&S and any other retailer could start selling 'UGG' boots.

The only way to tell whether it is the brand 'UGG' that you are looking for is to check the labels on the shoes.

I'd put my money on them not being what you think they are though.

TheBountyMuncher · 21/09/2010 20:04

The site looks a bit dodgy. I wouldn't trust it.

Don't know if you like this style, but soletrader outlet, on ebay, have these for £49.99

I'm still dithering over them.
When I decide I do like them, they'll be sold out! Grin

verytellytubby · 21/09/2010 20:42

Fake!

I bought mine from www.shudoo.co.uk/?gclid=CMbunL-jmaQCFUc_4wod8V1lEg

hobbittoes · 21/09/2010 21:55

Just looked at genuine uGg site and the photos are identical Shock.....don't think that's what you'd get at that price though!
