argh - attention seeking spot!

Am getting married next saturday and have a big spot on my jawline. Noooo!

It's one of those bumpy under the skin spots - got period today so probably hormonal.

I have already squeezed as much of the pus out of it as possible (I think there was pus in about 5 layers of skin because it popped at least that many times - yuck). It is now smaller but still red and with more reserves of bumpy pus deep in the skin. I fear it is biding its time to reappear in full glory just in time to ruin my right hand side profile shots!

So any tried and tested ways to kill the beast? I have been slathering on aloe vera gel to reduce redness and trying not very successfully not to touch it. Normally I just let them run their course but would like to get rid if possible.

Hello have a lovely day tea tree is a natural antibiotic but squeezing it will damage the skin could take a while to go.........

sudocreme is amazing for getting rid of spots put some on before bed and it should be gone by morning, if not see if your gp will be kind and give you some topical antibiotics. If all else fails go and see a dermologica beauty therapist asap they are ace at getting rid of angry spots

I suffer from these vile spots every now and again and have tried every spot cream available. The best is definitely Freederm. Or Neutragena Rapid clear treatment if you can catch it before you have to squeeze it. My pharmacist recommended magnesium sulphate paste which is inexpensive and works well.

Have a fab wedding day!

Thanks guys; might try the freederm or neutrogena. Sudocreme never did anything for my spots as a teenage, froggie so don't hold out much hope of that one.

Will also try the tea tree - forgot about that one.

I'm afraid I always squeeze; Just. Can't. Stop. Myself...
