which is the best website for clothes?

As my previous thread on colours had such a brilliant response, can I ask you all another question?

Normally I can't be bothered with clothes buying via the web, but after my abortive shopping visit last weekend, have realised it might be the answer. But I can't be bothered to go through all of them. Which one you you recommend for a solidly built (size 18/20, mostly on the hips) 53 year old woman. I really want slightly funky stuff - when I go into the M and S section that seems intended for me a little bit of me dies inside - but nothing that would look bizarre in rural Gloucestershire.

Part of me thinks I'm asking for the impossible, so it would make my day if any of you knew a site like this

However, still not got anything, but thanks for the help.

If you are in rural gloucs, have you tried shopping in Bath, loads of small independent boutiques which would have stuff, for example..

Blue Clothing

East

That blue site has some awfully strange rags. The dress that is a flowery patterned coat, The blue cut off denim flapping trousers with the weird belt. Very odd.

Yes, I'll try Bath - not been there in ages, though I agree with Valium about some of the blue clothes

Try Wall
not cheap but different

WhyAyeButterPie · 23/09/2010 08:30

Fashion Union? Not different, but cheap. You have to wade through the rubbish, but you can pick up some real bargains, especially in clearance.

(Declaration of interest- my DH works there, but he doesn't get a share of profits, so I think I'm ok :) Just don't return anything for a daft reason as I have to deal with a grumpy DH then!)

Yes, some of Blue is weird, but then I found these too...

dress

coat

I buy quite a lot from Fashion Union too.

ANd I think Next has a good choice this season - finally
