Cheaper hair products please

My hair is naturally quite dry. I used to use Keristas (not sure of spelling!!) shampoo and conditioner which I love but just can't afford it any more. My hair feels in bad condition and am using really cheap products on it just now, (whatever's on offer at supermarket). Any recommendations for decent, less expensive hair products please?

I quite like the John Frieda ones.

I use Aussie Miracle Moisture - they are quite often on offer in Boots/Superdrug at 2 for £6.

Faith in Nature is my shampoo of choice, has been for years now.

I like the seaweed one, it smells really nice, the lavender one, and the neem and propolis (for my children as it has some anti-nit type properties).

I buy it from the health food shop, I think it is available in most health food shops, it isn't really cheap, but it lasts.

I have tried a lot of shampoos and this doesn't make my hair feel dry or heavy.

I do sometimes give my hair a cider vinegar rinse (pre-wash) - it makes my hair feel silky.

Sometimes I also brave an ice cold rinse with water after a shampoo and condition, to help my hair shine.

Thanks all! Fivepips; love the cider vinigar and cold water tips too! Will definately give them a go.

Herbal Essences, often 2-1 in Boots, Superdrug etc

Timotei is working well for us at the moment. Down to £1 a bottle in ASDA too.

tigi and mop is reduced at cheapsmells. I've startedc to buy quite a bit of stuff from there- very good site.

I have long, curly hair that is usually dry.

I tend to use the Aussie range, herbal essences or the solid one for dry hair from lush with an aussie conditioner.
