is it your engagement party or someone elses?

woopsidaisy · 20/09/2010 07:27

Also an idea of your shape and budget?

lilly153 · 21/09/2010 08:48

no its my friends engagement party and i would say i was pear shaped, planning on losing another 8 pounds in weight before but knowing me it might never happen
i dont really have a set budget but as cheap as possible without it being nasty i would say roughly maybee between 100 and £150
thanks

lilly153 · 23/09/2010 13:46

No dress...are skirts ok or only trousers?
Also, is the party more casual (dress like on a night out in town) or more formal?

lilly153 · 23/09/2010 13:51

dress like a night out in town and pref trousers, jeans or leggin something that covers my thunder thighs lol

More questions...do 'thunder thighs' need to be covered by top or is a shorther top like this www.frenchconnection.com/product/Woman+Collections+Bestsellers/724Z9/Charlie+Top.htm ok?

nikki1978 · 23/09/2010 14:05

Well I am a pear shape and have just bought this which is very flattering and am wearing it with black skinnies and wedges to a party on Saturday (with straightened but ruffled hair and smoky eyes of course Wink
