£50 in M&S to spend on Me. What would you get?

My lovely Mother-in-law has sent me £50 in M&S vouchers (for my birthday!) with instructions to spend on myself!

Soooo... what would you buy? Not sure I'll manage to spend the whole lot on just me Blush - though I could do with a new maternity bra (boring)

was thinking this bag that I have absolutely no need for but think looks lovely on the website...

Maybe a necklace? I like silver-y colours and blues.

What would YOU get? Inspire me, please Grin
(the other option is to buy something entirely different like these bargain boots and then use the vouchers as offsetting - but that's cheating Wink. And we can't really afford to do that anyway.)

They do have a lot of nice footwear this season - I think I would buy either some shoes, boots or put it towards a military style coat.

BooBooGlass · 15/09/2010 19:44

Percy Pigs. A whole farking trolley of them. SOd the clothes

traceybath · 15/09/2010 19:46

Cashmere!

You can get a lovely cardigan or jumper for £49.50 and theres nothing like cashmere for warmth and luxury.

You can then spend the remaining 50p on a packet of biscuits for your family to share - win win Wink

If you're pregnant (like me) I would buy food Smile in fact I am liking booboos percy pig suggestion!

The maternity bras in there are miserable at the moment, I suppose you could get something practical like PJ's but a bit dull for your birthday.

tethersend · 15/09/2010 20:01

I love this dress. Only available in a 12 or a 16 at the moment though...

onadietcokebreak · 15/09/2010 20:07

Well thanks OP you have just done left me in a terrible situation!

I now know how much my darling wonderful friend spent on my excellent birthday present! This leaves me with the decision of whether to tell my other friends who keep complimenting me on the bag that it is still available!

It is really a stunning bag- the lining is beautiful and I have received so many compliments and WOWs when using this bag that I have ever had in the past 3 decades.

BUY IT!

onadietcokebreak · 15/09/2010 20:09

Excuse the typos and general lack of sense that post made!

Adair · 15/09/2010 20:12

Yes, I am pregnant. Not a foodie though - would seem like such a waste. Am also super-economy thrifty shopper which is why it is v hard.

Can't really buy clothes as no idea what size I will be... cashmere looks nice though (nicest colour jumper doesn't seem to be available though Hmm).

Pyjamas! good idea - haven't got anything reasonable and been meaning to buy but couldn't justify for ages. Am feeling a bit Blush about going to bed in giant t-shirts aged 31. Go on then, which pyjamas? I like the whole loose trouser/vest top look

arf @ percy pigs, i was going to say a months supply of chocolately mini bites.

Adair · 15/09/2010 20:25

Oh thanks (but sorry), onadietcokebreak! Grin
I did think it looked like a canny buy (ie something that looked way more expensive than it is...). And the lining looks lovely.

So I need to get to an M&S for
The Bag
Some cheap (but nicer than anything I have) pyjamas - tempted by the animal print ones
No Percy Pigs (bleurgh) but maybe some sort of chocolate-related snack

And will have money left over for... next time.

Thanks all for your help.

Im going to use the bag tomorrow in honour of this thread....enjoy all the compliments you are going to get!

moragbellingham · 15/09/2010 21:05

A case of wine - 25% off at the mo.

I'm not keen on the brown dress in RL.

My mum loved her cashmere jumper last year and I got something like 25% off in Oct/Nov.
