treggings and ponte trousers - what are they?

Ok, I understand what jeggings are as my children wear them. But what are ponte trousers and what are treggings?

Ponte is a type of fabric. Not just for trousers. Often used for dresses and skirts. Quite a heavy, stretchy fabric. Like jersey but much much heavier.
