Best place to buy jeans /trousers for a chubby -tummied toddler?

DD1 is 4yo and blessed with a rather plump tummy and not the longest legs so I struggle to find trousers that are not too long but will go round her tummy.

DD2 is a beanpole and opposite problem- trousers just fall off her and always need belts.

I've relied on leggings and dress-tops for ages but would like just one pair of jeans for DD1.

Has anyone found a shop or brand that cuts for the chubbier of toddlers?

Boots?

I always buy their jeans as they're girly and have adjustable waistbands.
I've never had to use them on the last button IYSWIM so I think that means they're fairly generous.

I always end up just buying to fit dd's waist and turning up the jeans/cords as can never find a pair with both the right waist and length.

FGM Land's End do some "plus sized" trousers for children. Any good?

adjustable waist all the way!

ds sounds similar - next usually have some as do sainsburys. we just roll up the legs. i don't think we've ever used the full leg length on a pair of trousers! :)

I'm glad to hear it's not just DD1 with a cubby tummy. I'll check out some of the places mentioned, thanks! Also just received a flyer from POP and it's got jeans and cords with elasticated bottoms so if I can bypass my fear of all things 1980's it might be a good alternative to rolling up the hems...

Fritzi- I find the idea of plus sizes for children a bit scary in a "this shouldn't be happening" kind of way.

Both my DDs are on the "normal" chart but at opposite ends from each other and DD1 is only just coming up to 4yo. I'm hoping as they grow that they will remain in the "normal" range- I'm certainly feeding them both healthy food and keeping them active.
