what do you do with outgrown children's shoes?

I duly put away dd's beautiful first pair of shoes in tissue paper and a nice box. She's now on her 3rd pair in less than a year. What do I do with the outgrown ones? If I keep them all it will be a bit weird by the time she's at senior school, not to mention would need an extra room to hoard them in! Doesn't seem right to chuck them, and surely pre-worn shoes aren't likely to be bought from a charity shop.

Is there a charity (developing country?) I can donate them to?

Sally army donation bin at your local supermarket. There's one at my Co-op, or there might be one at your local tip, sorry, recycling centre!!!

Clarkes also take them and put them in a charity bin.

It depends on the condition, sometimes I pass them on to friends or donate them to charity.

I donate them or sell in car boot if doing one.

Put them in the charity bin - there are people who would welcome yr pre-worn shoes, I am guessing better than no shoes.

We have a recycling bin, which I use for most shoes. Charity shops will take and re-sell wellies. Anything that's very lightly used but not saleable I freecycle.
