I am a 30E. i don't need one to pump me up two sizes. many people have said the gel ones are uncomfortable.
what shall i try?
For years I was a big C and all my bras gave me great clevage. but now i seem unable to find one. that can't be right, can it ?

Try one of the Fantasie or Freya bras. Quite expensive but good.

fruitstick · 10/09/2010 22:07

Fantasie do great bras. I'm an E cup and they are very comfortable and give a good shape.

Figleaves and John Lewis stock them.

fruitstick · 10/09/2010 22:08

See, must be true Grin

deffo Fantasie for me. hard to get plunge bras in 30e's.

i bought one called Savannah by Fantasie, on ebay, great cleavge bra.

I also wear Fantasie Belle, Cally, Helena, in the balcony style, gives great side support.

piratecat · 10/09/2010 22:10

gonna say it again lol, i used to work for Rigby and Peller and we sold alot of Fantasie bras there.

cece · 10/09/2010 22:12

I have the Calle and Belle too Smile

Oblomov · 10/09/2010 22:14

here have a look at all these bras on ebay, in your size.

here

the Fantasie Belle one is there, it's normal rrp is £30 +, and there's one there for £13.99. It's one of the best ones imo, i have one and its 4 yrs old ans till going strong!!

You can get some good bargains in your size, as you've such a little back.

hth

Freya satin plunge bras and Gossard superboost are great for E cup.

montoyadiary · 10/09/2010 22:18

I was measured in bravissimo this week for the first time, walked in a 38D, walked out a 36F!! Now I have a cleavage, even in a breastfeeding bra!

Oblomov · 10/09/2010 22:21

pirate, thank you. but how will i know which one to choose ? you can't go by picture. all the pictures look awful. the breast are moulded and supported in the bra, but they are really wide apart.you could fit the palm of your hand between the cups.
i want one that pushes my large boobs, right together. majorly together. so that you would struggle to get a cigarette paper between them.

i use to manage this with most of my bras. is it because i'm bigger now that it just is more difficult ?

hmm, if you are looking for squashed together puppies, i am not sure they are exactly what you want lol.

if you go to debenhams where they have what seems a large range of brands and styles , you will prob get a better answer.
There are specific bras for doing that, i am not much of an expert in the cleavage bra, as idon't wear them.

piratecat · 10/09/2010 22:28

well i guess it's becuase things like the wonder bra are truly made for that purpose, and when you were a c, wonderbra and such specialised in the a's b's and c's.

i do know what you mean, have you checked out wonderbra?

Oblomov · 10/09/2010 22:32

i will check out wonderbra, thank pirate.
all Blush at the fact that i have written on the internet that i basically want 'squashed together puppies'. oh dear !!

WhatsWrongWithYou · 10/09/2010 22:43

Wonderbra do one now in large cup sizes (I'm a 32E), which might be worth a try.

Only thing is, I find it sits a bit 'low' - keep meaning to get around to shortening the straps.

Maybe it's because everything is generally slipping downwards now, but I find I like 'em hiked up high as much as pushed in. Seems like a tall order these days Sad.

WhatsWrongWithYou · 10/09/2010 22:47

Wonderbra.
Looking now at the price, they're quite cheap and tbh, it shows.

piratecat · 10/09/2010 23:30

lol, at your puppies, sorry, !!

have you googled plunge bras?

depends where you live, but our local Debenhams always has a lot of on-sale glam lingerie, some of it marked down from very high prices with good names, seldom any to fit my DP, all seems be in the "small numbers, big letters" ranges.

scotsgirl23 · 11/09/2010 09:15

The freya deco moulded bra, and wonderbra t-shirt bras both give very good cleavage. The freya retro plunge is good too, but I'm not a fan of the one hook back fastening.

ssd · 11/09/2010 09:23

freya balconette bra's

SandyChick · 11/09/2010 09:53

I'm a 32 E. Freya etc are good, give good support etc.

I mostly wear marks and spencers underwired t shirt bra. I can't find them on their website to link. They come in a 2 pack for £15, 1 nude &1 White. They have a slightly moulded cup and a good plunge so they give a nice cleavage without looking like your wearing a wonderbra. I struggle to get them in my nearest m&s in an E as I think they're so popular. I would definitely recommend.

mmmperuna · 11/09/2010 10:15

I'm assuming you are all young - be warned the benefit of a cleavage in your 20s and 30s may leave you crepey in your 40s

piratecat · 11/09/2010 10:19

i have crepe starting i am 41, not sure it's down to shoving my boobs together tho! I think for me its just age, but you never know!
