Clinique Makeup

Yet again Clinique has stopped manufacturing my favourite makeup. I think this has happened twice before to me over the years.
I had been using soft finish makeup in soft vanilla. It really went on nicely.
The Clinique lady then recomended super balanced makeup in cream chamois (she had guidance obviously produced by clinique for people such as myself who were going to have to swap to an entirely new product). This makeup seems to not have the smoothness as it goes on and feels like its drying as it is applied. Just doesn't look so good.
Also I've got more spotty with it, bloody marvellous!
I wouldn't really know where to start choosing something else which may be just as bad. Also not that confident at these beauty counters as I have never had the best skin anyway.
Why oh why do they have these changes and put us through this hassle????

Have you tried Clinique Repair Wear foundation?
I used soft finish years back but the shades were never quite right- too dark for me. I now love RW in Alabaster Breeze.

I'd say it is nearer in texture than super balanced. Use only a tiny bit and blend like mad. Gives good coverage but can be thick-looking if you apply too much- you just need a dot on each cheek etc etc.

I have reasonable skin and use dramatically different moisturiser followed by the super double face powder. It looks and feels really light and lots of people comment that I have a lovely complexion when I am wearing it. How about booking a consultation and trying different things until you find what works best for you

I have Clinique Superfit - it goes on beautifully and is oil-free.
