Black ballet flats, best ones where???

Need some black flat stylish shoes for work, need to go with smart trousers. Don't want them to look cheap frumpy or mumsy. nothing too flimsy but nothing too chunky either. Don't want hush puppie, fly london or clarks. Can spend up to £70 (but would rather not). Must be leather.

Fussy aren't I?? Wink

Have a look in TKMaxx too if you can bear it. My sister got her Blochs there.

I saw some nice ones in M&S for £25. They had jewel things on and looked good for work.

i have worn ballet flats for years and have spent varying amounts from a tenner to over £100 (yes really Blush ) and the absolute BEST ones i have ever bought were from Primark, they are gorgeous, so pretty and delicate. and they were ONLY £4. i bought some in pewter as well. the only thing is they are not leather but the are made of a kind of silky material so don't look cheap and tacky. and they have that kind of stretchy stuff all the way round the top like proper ballet shoes. does that make sense :o prob not. anyway i love them and they are gorgeous.

My best ever were from Jones, about £65. I bought them with exactly the same criteria in mind. The are ballet flats, but proper shoes made of lovely leather. The fit properly and haven't developed that saggy squishy look. Worth every penny.

I get mine from Next - but then I'm a small size 3.

They are leather and have proper soles.

i have loads of pairs of ballet flats.

my favourites are LK Bennett but they are pricey so tend to only buy in the sale when you can get them sometimes for around £60 but still a bit pricey.

running a v close second i think is office
