Ballet Pumps on big feet

I am a size 14 with a big everything except my legs which are skinny. I have size 7 feet. Whenever I have tried ballet pumps with a skirt I look as though I have clown feet - They look so long!. I like the look of them on other people I see so is it just from my perspective I look odd or are my feet too long to get away with them or are they not designed for bigger girls?!

Hmm, not sure. I am a size 6.5 with very wide feet and they look awful on me too.

Before having kids I was a 6 with more normal width and they looked fine then.

Never felt that they were too long on me, though; it's the spread of my wide feet that looks awful. Aren't most shoes the same length, more or less?

I think you (one, not you) have to decide whether to not wear them at all or whether to just bite the bullet and wear them and not feel embarrassed.

I am a size 7 and slim and always felt like I was wearing flippers so never wore them for years & felt very Envy at people who could.

Then I tried a gold pair like these from M&S and they were comfy and looked good. I don't wear them with tight skinny jeans but have worn them with dresses and they feel right.

Very expensive but these are lovely and TKMaxx had some earlier this year.
