Geox shoes, do they come up small or big for size?

DS is a 4.5F-G in Clarks, probably a 4-4.5 in most other makes.
Am trying to figure out what size to buy him in Geox (4 or 4.5-5?). They are school PE trainers so would prefer to a bit large if feasible!
(Have to buy online btw!)

Any advice?

I'd buy a 4.5 but the Geox I have had come up quite narrow (which is why I bought them, both kids have narrow feet).

Oh, don't say that :(... Geox always seem wide enough for DC in past (all have F-G feet).
I cannot seem to find another pair of all-white trainers in those sizes (crying emoticon here).

You really need fitting when buying geox shoes.

Don't say that Sorrento, I do not want to drive 95 miles to get a pair of sodding PE shoes. Lalalalalaattiddaaaadah (I'm sticking fingers in my ears) Laalalalaliditiddidah...

Actually, this website (where I can buy them) has free returns, so I guess it's worth a punt. Better than spending a day on the phone to every shoeshop within 35 miles radius.

If it is PE shoes you need why not plimsols?

ragged · 08/09/2010 19:28

He doesn't want lace-ups and they have to be white... plimsols are too flimsy, me thinks. DS will probably end up doing a few weeks in his ordinary trainers and then I'll get feedback.

Clarks do loads that are the right size/fit, but all out of stock everywhere (presumably discontinued, boohoo).

Most kids have plimsols for PE, no laces, and you can get white.

Not this school, is a private one, when you search for "plain white trainers" on Google you get loads of PE kit lists from private schools, perhaps is a common thing and all the other private school parents know to buy early!

(Sigh).
They may have a Navy blue stripe so I got some on Ebay that should do the job. Will stall school if anyone fusses.

Ta 4 replies! Am having a MANIC day.
