One of the women that they were house hunting for was wearing a lovely green dress. Kind of a 50s style. I've been looking on shopstyle and can't find it.

If anyone saw the show do you have any idea where the dress is from? I can't find any photos of her wearing it on the channel 4 website so no link, sorry.

Yes I saw it, and remember thinking she had a nice outfit (shoes a bit high though).
Great colour.

Haven't seen it. Why don't you email via the Channel 4 website if you don't have any luck here.

Episode here... will have a look for the dress.

tethersend · 03/09/2010 11:15

Good shot of dress at 31.40

JustDoMyLippyThenWeWillGo · 03/09/2010 11:18

I thought it looked a bit vintagey/charity shop? In a good way, I mean! I like that look

EvaLongoria · 03/09/2010 11:20

The dress looked lovely but I must say I did not like her first outfit with the blue/white dress. and her DH with his red checked shirt just clashed majorly.

VivaLeBeaver · 03/09/2010 11:28

I thought it might have been a bit vintage. One of teh benefits of living in London I suppose, good charity/vintage shops.

I don't think it is vintage... have to bear in mind that the programme was filmed a while ago, so it's probably from at least a few seasons ago.

Maybe the wearer is on MN Wink

tethersend · 03/09/2010 19:47

Evening bump in case anyone knows.

I want to know now, and I'm not even that keen on the dress Grin

IHeartKingThistle · 03/09/2010 19:49

I loved that too! Looks vintage to me, although I did wonder whether those sleeves were actually a top underneath iyswim?

onadietcokebreak · 03/09/2010 20:08

I think the sleeves are a different top as the green was very different shade.

carriedababi · 03/09/2010 20:10

lol at that pratt that was in tears at the site of the house, then bought it...

brimfull · 03/09/2010 20:30

do you mean the one with the corsage ?

I thought it was hideous

inveteratenamechanger · 03/09/2010 21:16

No not the one with the corsage, the one the younger woman was wearing.

It was a lovely dress, but all the househunters were terribly annoying.

VivaLeBeaver · 03/09/2010 23:41

Her name was Nonni. Dark hair, the younger woman. Not the blonde miserable one.

Am going to tweet kirstie and ask her but don't know how to direct tweet her - do I just put @kirstiemallsopp in my tweet box and then ask her? Will that go to her?

Yes dietcoke, vintage dress over long sleeved tee. Now I really want to know too!

ValiumSingleton · 04/09/2010 11:51

I saw that...... both couples mad. The first couple determined to live in Crystal Palace, well, no comprendo. They lost me there.

And the second couple, the woman cried because a house she didn't own was a bit ugly. Fgs. Then she bought it. Her husband was annoying me too 'I don't think you realise....' and 'I don't think you grasp.....' Does he not trust her to let the builders in and out?

CerealOffender · 04/09/2010 11:57

hideous

VivaLeBeaver · 04/09/2010 13:06

Well Kirstie still hasn't answered, tsk.
