Want to spend approx £100 or less.

Fashionable couple that have quite a bit of money. Have asked them for ideas but they keep saying they do not expect a present.

DP would like to get them something special as he is Best Man and has been friends with the Groom since childhood.

Would prefer not to to give vouchers.

Thank you.

Maybe a nice silver picture frame? Or some crystal glasses, do they have a wedding list at all?

We recently bought friends this they also do the same for houses

Cfroggie they are getting married abroad and the house purchase isn't finalised yet. I think that gift is lovely.

SeaShell we've had a good look through and seen some things that might work. Thank you.

I saw the bride last night and she said that they don't really want anything material and they don't buy each other material gifts.

They like to 'do' stuff but that's even harder I think - just looked on last minute...

What a nightmare.

Grin chocolatefroggie I didn't click on your link - great minds think alike!

Op I hope you find something :) we carbon off set the honeymoon flights for the last wedding we went too - totally strange gift for most of our friends but perfect (and appreciated) by this couple.

What about a red letter day? A few of you could club together and get an impressive one?

From friends of dh we got a hammock as a wedding present, (I was not convinced to start with) it is now my favourite place to be, and it is big enough for the children too. It is so lovely relaxing in the hammock. I quite like the idea of giving someone a hammock and two fruit trees (our hammock is attached to an old plum tree).

I got lovely crystal glasses as a present and they were nice but few have survived.

hammock's here are good, when our wedding hammock perished after nine years we replaced it with an all weather double hammock.

OhCobblers · 03/09/2010 20:54

why not wait 'til after the wedding and get a selection of wedding prints (that they love) and get a canvas mural made?

if you have a Huttons near you they do them and looks very effective. I've been after one for ages but not got round to selecting any pics yet!

you could always write a personal message on the back!
