Are Ugg Boots cheaper in the States

My friend wants me to bring her some back, I have no experience of them. If I try them on I will be converted, apparently.

I dont know how much they are here.

Im doing abit of shopping in San Francisco and will post properly nearer the time.

The question is where would I go to get them and are they worth bringing back?

thanks!!

My brother lives in New York and I tend to commission stuff whenever he comes across or my parents go to see him. None of them are big shoppers and I always know what I want rather than asking them to look for me. It's all obvious stuff such as Uggs, Clinique and Benefit products, Nintendo DSs for the children etc where I just want to save a bit of cash on universal products. I usually order and pay online myself to be delivered to his address. Your friend could do this if you have an address whilst you are in the States? I have ordered Uggs from Nordstrom in the past and made a decent saving. TBH at current exchange rates it's hardly worth the effort. My mum was also a bit huffy as they took up a lot of room in her luggage.

so, you dont really see them at the outlets then? thats worth knowing.

Something to cross off my list!

You do see them in the outlets particularly at this time of year. Look out for a store called DSW too. It stands for discount shoe warehouse. They usually have several styles to choose from. Also Nordstrom Rack, Off Saks and Loehmanns should have some. Have fun!

Depending on the exchange rate, I've bought boots in the States at half the price they are being sold here. I bought some Kensington biker UGGS for $200 (which converted to £125 at the time) as opposed to the standard £250 price tag here.

There's a massive range of UGG boots, some hideous, some fab. Generally they are a fair bit cheaper in the states though.

I just bought the Kensington Uggs for $200 as opposed to £250 here. Rip off Britain is alive and well

Is Nordstrom Rack a chain? Im going to two different places.

I will have to write down somewhere how much they are in the first place, I forget everything.

I will have to do that with make up as well!!

That sounds like a good saving, would make a ggood Xmas present for my mum.

Ive never even put my foot in one. Are they all that?
