Boden - what are they like in the bust?

I have never bought anything from Boden before as I am poor, but I've seen a nice dress on ebay. Before I bid can anyone tell me what they're like in the bust? I am a GG, I can only really get into Monsoon stuff as they seem to be quite generous in that area. TIA

It's hit and miss I find.

I am not dissimilar to you and find Boden fine most of the time though to be honest.

But depends what size you are buying? And material & style?

I've just realised my post is a bit contradictory. I find it fine most of the time, because most things are fairly flowing/stretchy, but with cotton/no give or stretch material then not always great.

If anything I find Boden to be a bit loose in their styling rather than close fitting, but they seem to have changed a bit recently and things are getting more fitted. Is this ebay item oldish/recent stock do you know?

No idea if it's old or new, it's long sleeved so I'm guessing A/W 09. Its flowing in the body but has a button-up neckline, I usually stretch buttons to bursting point. I am a 36GG and usually take a size 16, this is a size 18 so hoping I might get away with it

Yes, that sounds like it will be ok then. You can always sell it again if it doesn't fit!

why dont you ask the seller for the bust measurement of the dress?

It's 40 in the bust, but I've bought 40s from Next before and I was popping out all over the place, it was pretty indecent.
What the hell, I can always sell it on.
