Is Catimini very small ?

I know most of the French brands are, just wondered how they compared to Pampolina ?
DD and I have been discussing arguing about a winter coat for weeks, finally madam approves of one which only goes up to age 10. DD is a chunky age 10

I would say Catimini is pretty small. I have a tall skinny 4.3 year old, and she is in Age 5 Catimini clothing. The Age 4 would fit her width ways, but would be too small length-wise.

Apart from Gap (which is even smaller) other brands seem to fit bigger (Polarn O. Pyret, Boden for example).

Yes. I would treat a Catimini 3yo size as a 2-3yo size, for example (i.e. fitting up to age 3, not fitting someone who was 3 and a bit). I certainly wouldn't try putting anyone who wasn't extremely petite/elfin in a Catimini garment labelled the same as her chronological age.

I thought as much, thank you, you'd have thought I was trying to murder the child rather than spend £100 on her this morning.
Am pulling my hair out.

V. small compared to English clothes.

We got presents of a couple of outfits and even my 2 skinnies wore them before the actual size/age iyswim.

Definitely small... at 12 months, an 18month old dress was tight on her.
