Can you help style me for work???

I'm useless I really am, current 'style' is mainly jeans with top and then shirt or jersey top with work trousers for work. I work in HE and always find I either look too formal or too casual. Ideally I am looking for smart casual clothes than can be either for work or home but also don't cost the earth (3 kids and a rampant wine fetish to feed!!). If I can get away from jeans I'd love to.

I'm early 30s 5ft 6 with chin length blonde hair that I'm growing, about a stone heavier than I'd like to be and 34dd in the nork department (and also way too much in the stomach dept)

Any help from you lovely ladies would be appreciated.

I thank you...

Hm, I'm not quite sure what would constitute "too formal".

If they are work/home friendly, how about a wrap dress or something like that? I'm a big fan of dresses for work and dependingon the dress can be anything from uber-formal to quite casual. Would that work for you? Easier than trousers (I can never get trousers to fit properly)
