www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/Womens-Dresses/Above-Knee-Dresses/WH235/Womens-Florentine-Dress.html?m=3

I have a voucher left over for my returns. I want something for my San Francisco trip. I have big boobs. the voucher is making a hole in my pocket.

I'll pay you not to buy it.

Maryqueenofchocs · 25/08/2010 17:32

If you have boobs you'd be far better with this one imo...

boden dress

TheChewyToffeeMum · 25/08/2010 17:34

I would avoid with big boobs. It reminds me of a Primary School teacher of mine who had enormous upholstered norks - scary to a small child!

yummum01 · 25/08/2010 17:54

Definitely agree with Maryqueenofchocs. Without sounding too trinny and susannah or Gok Wan, if you're big boobed(me tooish)then that neckline is far too high and will just make you look bigger and probably rather frumpy.

Deep V's are what you want, depending on how big you are.

kittya · 25/08/2010 17:59

34g. Thanks!! Tha link doesnt work.

Thing is, Im so fed up with Boden which is why I have all the credit. i do find it frumpy just good for basics these days. The shoes are dullsville and I dont need another bag. And, i dont want to spend it on kids clothes as usual!!

knitwear is quite nice

collision · 25/08/2010 18:04

leggings

think these two links are what I would get if I had 'spare'boden vouchers

kittya · 25/08/2010 18:11

I liked the cardigan. I havent worn leggings since I was 17 and I wouldnt know where to start with them!!

I actually need boots but they arent impressing me and, so expensive!!

kittya · 25/08/2010 18:44

I think I will stick to the straight leg jeans, they always look nice.

pointydog · 25/08/2010 19:01

That is not a great dress and doesn't look like 95 quids worth.

missbeehiving · 25/08/2010 19:17

That dress is hideous.

collision · 25/08/2010 19:34

If I can wear leggings anyone can!! Even for lounging round the house.......very fashionable and everyone wears them.

Long sleeved black top
Black leggings
Grey Boden knitwear thing I linked to and black boots

Very chic!!

Maryqueenofchocs · 25/08/2010 19:42

If I had vouchers I would be getting this in deep mole for A/W:

velvet blazer

I'm thinking white shirt, jeans and boots..Smile

Maryqueenofchocs · 25/08/2010 19:42

I meant in Damson...

kittya · 26/08/2010 09:51

the reviews say its boxy though and I already got the boyfriend blazer which is a horrible boxy shape. Hence, the vouchers....

employmentlawquery · 26/08/2010 10:54

I'd recommend the leggings and camisoles (as a 34G also). The camis are to wear under my Boden V neck tops that are too low!

I assume you can combine using the £10 off 30 offer with using up vouchers?

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 26/08/2010 11:23

I'm a 34F and have this dress and LOVE it.

It fits my boobs really well and then skims the rest of my body in a very flattering way and the pattern hides lumps and bumps. I've had lots of complements.

Buy it, buy it Grin.

kittya · 26/08/2010 17:48

what length did you get? it doesnt look very eveningy to be but it has had good reviews.

sansucre · 26/08/2010 20:07

I'm a 28F and ordered the Florentine dress in the smoke dotty floral in a size 6 and it was too big across the bust, something I find rather ridiculous!

It arrived fairly creased but as I'd ordered it to wear to a christening, I thought it would do and I planned on getting the dress taken up at the shoulders at a later date as I noticed that made the whole thing sit so much better. However, I found the fabric creased to such an extent that within 30 minutes of wearing it prior to leaving the house I resembled a dish rag, so that coupled with the seam coming apart above the zip forced me to send it back.

Boden were great and issued a full refund but it's a huge pity as I loved the dress.Plus it looked especially great with my Comptoir des Cotonniers ankle boots :(

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 26/08/2010 20:32

No it's not evening-y in a glam way, but would do a nice dinner out no probs.

I got the regular length but then I am a shortarse - 5ft 2.

kittya · 27/08/2010 09:27

I have ordered it, fingers crossed. It is expensive, hope it flatters!
