I need a strapless bra in a 36H/J - does such a beast exist?

Or am I going to have to go to a 38G and hope that the back doesn't ride up?

Any help appreciated :)

Oh and I need it by Friday, so needs to be quick delivery. No shops of decent size or range within 35 miles of this one horse town I call home.

Bravissimo website? (sorry if you have tried there already)

TigerFeet · 24/08/2010 21:16

Yes I tried bravissimo, but thanks

28 days for delivery

I am too disorganised for such timescales

Have also tried M&S

I think Panache do one? I'd second Bravissimo, or maybe SimplyBe?

Good luck!

TigerFeet · 24/08/2010 21:16

oooh john lewis perhaps??

Figleaves has got one but I don't know about riding up - I find it better to wear a bustier type one.

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 24/08/2010 21:18

Figleaves delivery is quite quick I think. Have you looked there?

I've bought some nice stuff for big norkage from there recently.

I would ring Bravissimo and plead with them that you will pay extra for quick delivery. I think you would have a good chance of getting to speak to an actual human being fairly quickly. Try them now or (more likely) first thing. They are known generally for fab customer service.

nice balcony bra in JL that might do the trick if nothing delivers

thanks for ideas, I am looking at all of them

Darn. They do corsets?

Nooooooo. NOT a back size bigger. Never, and certainly not two sizes bigger on a strapless bra for substantial breasts. It would be a disaster.

Depending on to what extent your breasts are self supporting IYSWIM, you might well need to go down a band size to get them to stay put. Mine aren't self supporting at all and I even have to go down a band size for normal bras, 'tis too painful on the shoulders otherwise.

Going down a band size does mean you need to go up a cup size to get the same space in the cup. 'tis vital to adjust both measurements.

CarGirl · 24/08/2010 21:32

I think you would be better off with a corset type bustier thing

TigerFeet · 24/08/2010 21:42

Oh bollocks I can't find anything

I think I may have to go for the JL balconette and hope for the best. Dress has straps, just fairly thin.

Can't stretch to a bustier and would be way to hot anyway. Budget is £30.

Fermina I am in no way self supporting so will definitely avoid the 38G

Thanks all.

I've never ordered from this place, but, 36H and in budget.

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 24/08/2010 21:53

Also here. Don't know this shop either.
