GHDs - to buy or not to buy?

I currently have some Remington Wet 2 Straight ones (although I always use them on dry hair). They have lasted me 4 years but I am noticing my hair doesn't feel very nice once straightened, not very soft, and my hair isn't very sleek, am wondering about upgrading to GHDs. Have seen them for around 90ish quid through a couple of approved websites inc free del and one was with a heat mat too. Is this a good deal?

gosh, yes, definitely worth the extra money. i would never go back to non GHD straighteners. i've had mine a couple of years. they did break at one point - it seemed like a loose connection of some sort - but there's a bloke who advertises on ebay as a GHD fixer for £25. he promises to do it right away and send them back, and he was as good as his word!

Yes yes yes

thanks all - any recommendations where to get them from? Looking at the funky group or look fantastic think they are genuine sites - both are offering thermal protector and heat mat with it plus free delivery. bit paranoid about scammers though!

The official GHD website has a website checker which you can use to check the site you are looking at is genuine :)

Look Fantastic is a genuice site.
I have my hair cut at one of their salons and they sell genuine GHDs
