Boden reviews - how terrible are they?

I dont think this time around Johnny has being able to disguise the terrible reviews. Even that casual dress that is practically sold out only got three stars. The only think that seems to be doing well is the Hamptons tee, and it is actually very nice in the pine.

Reviews are weird- yesterday there were 2 reviews for the Greenwich Reefer- not there are none.

well, I know not everyone writes reviews but I was still expecting a hell of a lot more by now.

I have done about 15 reviews and to be fair to them, they have printed them all, even the really bad ones called "frumpy" etc..

most of them are quite bad, very few are glowing.

Agreed. The basics contune to be good, very good in fact.(ie cardis, jumpers, plain jersey tops, accessories) But I steer clear generally of anything hotch-potchy etc.

I would say though that the majority of people dont bother to leave reviews, to be honest.

some of the items say 10 reviews but theres only 3 there when you read them .Very weird. I bet Johnnie is wishing hed never started the blooming things

I agree- it says 7 reviews for some and I can only see 1- which tends to be positive. Hm.

I think lots of people leave reviews, theres usually loads. I rely on them!!

Does anyone know why the reviews are not showing in full? It says "8" reviews yet when you look thre may only be 2 or 3?

A couple of reviews I have written are there one day but not the next then reappear....

most of mine where put up but a couple of two stars never.

I am just starting a website and my web man has asked 'do you want reviews', part of me says yes, coz we have good product and customer service, part of me says no coz we will piss someone off royally at some stage, that's life aint it.

My reviews normally say good and bad things in the same review and they are never ever posted up...

Would we be able to do our own Boden review thread? (If it hasn't been done already).

I haven't added a review yet for my stuff. It was all awful

the quality is just not there any more.

The cord mini I've got my eye on says it's got 9 reviews but you can only read one, and on the front page says it gets 4.1 but then when you click to read it says it only gets a 3!

well well..there are 33 and 31 reviews for the cord dress and the casual dress.

anyone bought the cord dress? it looks kind of weird to me but could be better on.....

Reefer Jacket reviews gone- mine not added yet.
Rubbish jacket- material is not soft fluffy wool but like twill- cheap and nasty. I got 20% off but if not there is no way I'd pay £140 for that.

the dress in the denim comes up small but the reviews for the cord say its big, if that helps. I dont rate it to be honest, I sent it back.

On their Facebook page, they keep going on about fixing the 'new review software' and people are bitching and posting a few reviews there.

I wouldnt dare join their fb page, I would never hear the end of it from my friends!!

I only bought 1 thing this year from Boden - the rainy day jacket in a size too small, as an incentive to lose more weight, so I can't really judge it on fit! I got the navy and graphic spot one, and it's really vibrant and flattering despite me looking like Augustus Gloop!

Meg- thanks for asking. It's lovely someone remembers me, considering how little I post.
DS2 is doing very well thank you. He's 10.5 months now and has just learnt to roll over. He babbles and chuckles, so we think he'll eventually learn to speak and are optimistic he will have some movement, or even walk a bit. It's still such a waiting game. He's due to have an op on his skull in the next few months, so that's preying on my mind alot.
