I would go back to your gp and ask to be referred to a dematologist. If the antibiotics are not working and you've been taking them for a while you shouldn't be takign them any more and should be being prescribed alternative treatments.

My friend uses an antibiotic roll on. Have you tried one of them?

Josy96 · 16/08/2010 18:06

I have tried all sort of things for years, nothing has changed my rosacea but one day I went on internet and found a place, went there and started my IPL treatment, have now completed my course, The Effects Were Obvious and Impressive.

I never needed any medications and creams anymore...I even don't need mackup!
They are based in the city and it's called Pulse light clinic.
Hope you find them

My MIL found out that hers was down to food intolerances.
Your GP will 99.9% of the time NEVER refer you on for these tests but it is totally worth it and can be life changing.
MIL found that she was intolerant to milk, yeast, wheat and gluten. So she's moved over to soy and it has made a huge difference.

www.drugs.com/accutane.html
I got this on private prescription, took it for 6 months and it absolutely changed my life, any hint of my children suffering I will be straight to the dermatologist, there is a huge amount of evidence that antibiotics are a complete waste of time.

I am having a treatment for broken veins and flushing there as well, the nurse is really good, and my skin looks amazing!! I am very impressed with the results. Smile

Does anyone know if the light treatment is good for open pores as well? I've got some broken veins around my nose as well, a friend of mine said that is Rosacea..have no idea how to get ready of this.
