should I worry about what to wear in Center Parcs...

...or should I just live in cropped jeans and t-shirts all week?

We are off to Center Parcs next week and I am trying to decide what to pack.

For the kids it is easy, lots of t-shirt and jeans/shorts combinations. But I can't decide what to take for myself.

I know that it needs to be practical, but on the other hand I am on holiday so it woudl be nice to make a little bit of an effort!

So far the most exciting thing on my packing pile is my new Boden swimsuit. But I can't wear that all week...

I have the blonded bob but not the cropped jeans due to dreadful ankles.

domesticsluttery · 16/08/2010 17:44

Oh, and I do own wellibobs which must be the ultimate outdoorsy mum accessory!

Oh I loooooooooove those! I have footballer's calves so can't wear wellies. Have bookmarked the page for payday :o

No one dresses up - even to go out to dinner at night, jeans and top is fine.

When I went to Elveden CP it was the middle of winter and I had put on a stone. But I actually felt slim at the swimming pool - loads of women of all shapes and sizes made me feel great!

As long as you don't wear Crocs I think you will ok. They seem to provoke very strong reactions.

Rockbird · 16/08/2010 17:49

Do they come up big, small or what?

Sorry for hijack, I was thinking about winter...

domesticsluttery · 16/08/2010 17:53

They are fairly roomy, I'm usually an 8.5 and an 8 fits me fine.

Swimming costume that will withstand repeated trips down water slides without needing to be hoiked out of the arse crack or exposing your boobs

domesticsluttery · 16/08/2010 19:00

I'll be leaving the water slide to DH and the boys, whilst I paddle in the shallow end with DD (and the other fat mummies).

Don't rule it out domestic - it's really fun, especially the Rapids. Even for "fat mummies"

MrsBadger · 16/08/2010 21:38

the rapids are fab

can't wait till dd is big enough - atm dh and I have to take turns

I didnt see any shell suits at longleat.
I wore leggings, jeans, trainers for cycling and walking.
Def not judgey there, did spot lots of Boden swim suits
And last time I went that Kate woman who won the Apprentice was sat next to me in the toddler pool.
She had a lovley swim suit on and was def not blobby.
