I need some shoes as comfy as Crocs...but that aren't Crocs!

Not because I'm prejudice against crocs :o

They're ugly but so comfy!

But I was wearing them yesterday when my heel slipped to the side of the back (IYGWIM) and my whole foot went to the side and bent under....and I am now sitting here with a beautifully swollen and sprained ankle thanks to the crocs :o

Am loath to wear them again so i need replacements!

birkenstocks maybe? they also make propper shoes.
or ecco shoes

Thank you! had a pair of Ecco and didn't get on with them for some reason! always hurt!

Maybe Birks are the way to go!

Have you tried fit flops? i've just ordered the new trainer/plimsole style today.

Used to think berks were comfy until i discovered the fitflops.

My ugly crocs are strictly for wearing around the house and i cringe if i have to answer the door in them.

Turk suede sandal from Fly London. On Amazon right now at big discount. I've been wearing mine all weekend and feel as though I've been walking around in carpet slippers.

Not as practical as crocs, being suede, but soooooo gorgeous (IMO - depends if you think fringing is 'in', 'out' or just 'gorgeous' - I'm the latter).

Fit flops or Birkenstocks(these don't make your feet sweat either!!)
