Is there a product I can buy (on the High Street) to remove semi-permanent hair dye?

I searched the archives and found this thread, but the critical link no longer works!

Is gentleotter or anyone else who knows what it was about around to advise?

The background is:

DD dyed her hair from light blonde to what was supposed to be dark brown, but which actually turned out to be a fairly vivid purple at the start of the holidays Hmm. She was quite unfazed by this, and it has now faded to a dark blonde/mouse with redish bits, but still nowhere near her normal colour and she's been washing it loads. I will get some head & shoulders, but think something more drastic will be needed as she starts a new school with a strict no dyed hair policy on 31st Sept.

All advice welcome!

Boots do one which is only available online here. I have used the extra strength one and it worked really well. Hair felt a little dry after but put on loads of good conditioner and it should be ok. The old (permanent) colour came out very well.

I went into Salon Services a few days ago for the Goldwell one but they don't do it anymore but do a Rusk one instead. I have no idea how good the Rusk one is.

Thanks Swans, that looks just the stuff. I've ordered the normal strength one & will see how it goes.
