Classic and chic or deadly dull?

I need new hair and I quite fancy a long bob, not blunt cut but not 90s choppy either, just slightly choppy (or maybe layered at the ends / round my face) so it's not so harsh. What's the MN verdict? Hit or miss?

I've got long, fine, poker straight hair without a fringe. ATM it's layered and although it looks good I'm totally and utterly sick of it.

Any tips or alternative suggestions gratefully received Smile

Sounds good. I'd love to have poker straight hair.

I think that sounds lovely - but I'm biased because that's the haircut I have Grin

Although my hair is totally different to yours - it's thick and bouncy with a bit of a wave that needs a good blow dry to make it disappear.

Oops, misplaced bracket - should say: ...just slightly choppy (or maybe layered) at the ends / round my face so it's not so harsh.

Ah, and DC induced x posts.

Thanks! I'm not really convinced one way or the other and it feels like a big step Hmm
