DH and I are going on our first date for a year, for our anniversary, to a local restaurant. I want to make a bit of an effort but am hopeless at dressing up.
Is a dress like this which I already have, too Christmas party-ish?
Or how about one similar to this, which I have spotted in local dress agency charity shop, the thing is I am quite short and curvy and fear looking like a sack. Possibly a belt?
I think the second look is a bit more appropriate. I really don't want to end up in linen trousers as if I was at work and have no summer dress or skirt whatsoever.
