Nooooo - do not do it yourself. Have gone peroxide from light brown/high lighted/ grey mix and took blardy hours in hairdresser but really like it. Neighbour has dark hair and they strongly advised against blonde, but suggested lighter highlights.

ok, pics up.

hmm, you are right. Ive tried to dye it blonde myself a few times and ended up with orange hair for my efforts

Hmm, your hair is just like mine (am presuming straightened sometimes?) and I suspect in strong danger of going orange if you try this at home. Please don't! Suspect you may have to spend hours in the hairdresser...(FYI I love my new peroxide hair, even tho ds wants to know why i am trying to look like a granny)

lol, was thinking a caramelly colour (red always shines through) never straightened my hair, so its in pretty good nick considering ive dyed it since i was 15.

you are so lucky! my hairdresser told me they wouldn't be allowed to chemically straighten mine after the bleaching...just bought new straighteners as the others have worn out got old. Like your hair cut tho.

Why do you dye it at all? The dark red in your wedding picture is so beautiful. Its hard to get a good blonde from red hair,it does tend to go orange if you do it at home, you would need to go to a good salon and have several shades put through it.To be honest,I love red hair,I think its gorgeous and I think you should go with your natural colour, lucky, lucky you.

Noooo, don't do it! apart from the risk of going orange when you dye it blonde, you also run the risk of going pink if you decide you hate it and want to change back again!

Just MHO of course Grin
