Exactly that really.

A shade that slightly enhances and preferably stays put.

Thanks

Bobbi brown creamy lip colour in rose petal. Depends on what colur you're lips are, but this matches mine and lasts forever.
My fall back, every day, boring nude shade.

Hmmm. It looks quite dark - is it?

My lips are pale(ish) as is my skin tone.

I like boring nude...

The thing is, too nude and you have that weird look that looks like you have foundation on your lips so pinker is better. Though I was a massive fan of Rimmel's Birthday Suit when I was at school.

I have clinique Soft Bloom, thought there are some other lovely shades here

purplepeony · 10/08/2010 21:52

I use Clinique Adore U in Buttersoft shine.

Have you thought about a lip gloss instead?
Dior High Shine lippies look very nudey though have never bought- just tried testers.

trinni · 10/08/2010 22:21

Oh yes, that 'foundation on the lips' look is awful.

Being fair I definitely need a rose tint.

purple... I don't seem to get on with lip gloss. I have tried them but they're not long-lasting enough for me.

I like "Baby lips" (?) by Laura Mercier. And something else from Bobbi Brown, which i appear to have temporarily mislaid.

It's almost a mantra on mn, but if you go to a Bobbi Brown counter, they will match you to a very nice, natural lipstick, that's, you know, you, but shinier.

i have a lovely nude shade from the body shop i got free recently with a concealer brush (which i had not known i needed before i went in) - go and buy a concealer brush from there immediately! you know you want one!
