Find me shoes! £200 budget, need to go with turquoise dress

It is my best friends wedding at the beginning of October, I have this dress which looks much nicer on than it does in the picture.

I don't like the Miu Miu wedges the site matches to the dress, I like heels, higher the better. I would also like the shoes to be able to go with other, more usual outfits, if a shoe exists that would go well with the dress and with jeans - amazing.

Also, any suggestions on cardi/wrap/cover ups?

What do you think of these?

Choo-esque but I am not convinced.

I think I will head to Selfridges on Saturday and it wouldn't hurt to peek at the pretty metallic sandals whilst I am there!

I like both of those Ewe.

Selfridges new shoe hall is open now isn't it? I think metallic is the way to go.

Love that dress- huge DVF fan so am very envious !

Think the first pair of shoes in your last post would be fab.

lalalonglegs · 08/08/2010 21:41

I think these could work - and they've been reduced to #39 Grin

lalalonglegs · 08/08/2010 21:43

I also like these

lalalonglegs · 08/08/2010 21:44

Actually, I really like the silver ones you've linked to further up. Go for those.

Ewe · 08/08/2010 22:47

They don't have the silver ones from Selfridges in my size :( back to square one!

Really like the KG ones just not sure the colour is quite right. Think I am going to keep hunting for silver/metallic shoes and see what else I can dig up.

Thanks bats, it is lovely, the kind of dress that makes you smile when you open the wardrobe Grin

Back when I was looking in August I couldn't find anything I really liked so didn't buy anything, couple of weeks ago groom called wedding off, cue MUCH drama over last fortnight. Now, all is well again (ha!) and the wedding is back on but...

I HAVE NO SHOES! AND NO CARDIGAN/JACKET!

I also have nothing to wear to hen do this coming weekend either. Disaster.

Would really like to order from ASOS as have next day premier account thing and absolutely can't get to the shops this week. Can anyone see any shoes/jackets on there that could work?

These would work- are you going bare-legged?

Silver could work...

Jacket depends on what colour shoes you go for I think...

MissWooWoo · 13/09/2010 18:41

gorgeous dress with a capital G!

something in silver perhaps? how lovely that you have £200 to spend on some shoes ... hurrah for you!

MissWooWoo · 13/09/2010 18:44

strappy

oops slightly over and not silver but fab

Ewe · 13/09/2010 18:45

I do like the FCUK ones, just can't imagine wearing them again, they're really glam!

Not sure on bare legs, if it's really cold I may wear tights, churches are bloody drafty.

Thanks MissWW - I like silver too, think I might have to step away from ASOS and try somewhere else.

This could work depending on how navy the dress is...

tethersend · 13/09/2010 18:47

It would help a lot if it didn't have to be from asos...

Ewe · 13/09/2010 18:55

Thinking this for hen do?

I will now look at anywhere that does next day delivery or is on Oxford Street and therefore do-able in a lunch break.
