If you were allowed only one beauty product, what would it be?

I am lucky, don't need much for my hair
But would need Niceneasy118

Makeup would have to be vitalumiere

What would be your choices?
You are allowed one for hair and one for face/body
[tough emotion]

fellow 118 er here DR

mascara
or i must day dior nude looked pretty good on my fishy chops the other day

dexter73 · 05/08/2010 09:19

Moisturiser as I have dry skin.

LynetteScavo · 05/08/2010 09:22

Is moisturiser a beauty product? I think of it as a necessity, like soap. As is my hair dye.

Under eye concealer.

mousymouse · 05/08/2010 09:24

mascara, without it I just look very tired.
agree moisturiser is an essential, not a beauty product as such...

DarrellRivers · 05/08/2010 09:25

LS, goodness , soap and deodorant indeed are essentials
Am liking the idea of hair dye being an essential

I suppose if we went to a desert island and could only take one product, soap would be the winner

But if you had soap, shampoo, deodorant etc
I would choose to take either hair colourant or vitalumiere
[sits on fence]

It would have to be mascara for me. And a hair bobble for lazy hair.

AlaskaNebraska · 05/08/2010 09:32

lol at dr changing rules

ViveLaFrak · 05/08/2010 09:39

Do palettes count as one item? [cheat emoticon]

One of the Estee Lauder travel cases or Clarins chic and glam black palette

If I'm not allowed that then organic coconut and vanilla oil

Batiste dry shampoo for hair

DarrellRivers · 05/08/2010 09:47

VLF, I am sure that counts as cheating but am liking your style

For me it would always be foundation (my one true love)
I will just have to cope with my natural hair colour

Phytaoil is a moisturiser so I'm allowed that for free right?!

In that case I'm going with (waterproof) mascara too, and my Umberto Giannini hair straightening conditioner stuff.

MmeLindt · 05/08/2010 10:30

Hmm, I would go with Jil Sander's Tinted Moisturiser as it is perfect for days that I don't want to be too "made-up".

Do you just bung the Clairol stuff on then, no highlights? I am tempted, hairdressers are so expensive here.

mizu · 05/08/2010 10:36

Shampoo essential for my greasy locks. And undereye concealer - YSL Touche Eclat or Benefit Erase paste.

DarrellRivers · 05/08/2010 12:36

Am amazed at all those who couldn't live without mascara
I never wear it day to day
Perhaps I should

Am brunette MmeLindt and I think it is easier to get a good result than blonde with home dye, but yes, just bung it on, wait 25mins and off I go with luscious locks

tough call between mascara, blush and eyebrow pencil but the eyebrow pencil wins

it could double as liner if necessary

hair: do I have a hairdryer/brush? if so then kerastase straightening balm. if not bumble curl cream.

this all assumes that i have moisturiser, shampoo etc already

jakermaker · 05/08/2010 17:15

Definately under eye concealer takes years off me

BelligerentGhoul · 05/08/2010 17:18

Hair - a brush
Face or body - bubble bath
Make up - probably Mac Shale eyeshadow

wax for my hair, and carmex cherry lip balm

SaorAlba · 05/08/2010 20:31

Vaseline Lip Therapy :D

And shampoo.

FindingMyMojo · 05/08/2010 23:14

a 2 in one shampoo/conditioner. don't use one know but couldn't choose between the 2 so I'd find one

i have a tinted linkish/neutral lip balm so another 2 in 1 - I'll take that too

(for some reason I'm thinking I'm taking these items to a deserted island!)

FindingMyMojo · 05/08/2010 23:14
