Am off to town in 15 minutes, so please recommend your foundation or mascara.

I have worn Clarins foundation for years but now theyve discontinued mine and I don t like the new one. I like a proper expensive foundation, you cant skimp on some things!
Usually use YSL mascara but I find it goes claggy really quick and is a bit of a waste of £20.
I dont mind a cheap mascara if its good

TIA

Meant to add... ViveLaFrak ~ No the one I have is not the vibrating one. It's this one. It has a brush similar to the Clinique long pretty lashes mascara which is designed to separate the lashes for a fluttery look rather than vulumising. I shall use it tomorrow. I really hope it's as good as the Clinique.

Let us know what you think of the vibrating mascara won't you?

I use Estee Lauder Doublw Wear Light foundation. It is oil-free, gives good long-lasting coverage and feel lovely and comfortable on my skin. It is not as full-on as the normal Double Wear (Estee Lauder calls it "sheer" coverage) but still hides my broken veins and imperfections. Best of all, though, is that it really does stay put. I've tried Chanel Vitamumiere and Bobbi Brown Skin foundations but the "disappear" half way through the day on me...

The only problem with ELDWL, is that they do not make a fabulous range if shades. So I buy two shades and mix them, but, actually, I've got to quite like this approach - I use just the darker one when I'm tanned and just the lighter one on the pastiest pale day. It's about £20.

Oh, and I ALWAYS use a foundation brush - Mac190.

Re mascara - I also use YSL false lash effect so am interested to see if there is something out there that is as good but cheaper and longer lasting.

yyy to the foundation brush. It makes such a difference to the coverage.
