Help for my dd please - hair!

My dd has long red hair. Her school is very strict about hair colour, so she has to be back to normal in September - but she would LOVE to dye it outrageously for the rest of the summer. Is there anything she can use which will wash out eventually? I know red hair is very tricky because it absorbs more colour (or is that a myth?). Can anyone help, please?

she could dye it then have it stripped before she goes back to school but stripping is quite expensive.

Does that work? What sort of condition does it leave the hair in?

have you got a sally hair and beauty supply near you? They do 'paint pots' very bright/ outrageous colours that can be painted onto the hair and will fade gradually. Or the other option is for her to dye the ends of her hair (think beyonce in an early music video with blonde hair and pink ends) and then have her hair trimmed into for school, cutting of the dye.

yeah it works great but you will need to give it a really good condition afterwards, but if you have it done at a hairdressers they should do that for you
