I was soooo nearly doing that, you siren of financial destruction, you

But no. There will be bargains to be had when I am thin.

BelligerentGhoul · 28/07/2010 21:29

That is lovely. I saw Wallis and expected it to be a polyester-ish fright. I am not a 10 or 14 though. Actually a ten may just fit me in Wallis as they come up big iirc.

LetThemEatCake · 28/07/2010 21:29

ooh you nearly had me. Red dress, right size. Luckily I don't love it.

Phew

traceybath · 28/07/2010 21:29

BOF you are utterly gorgeous. I just love a red dress

Where's mycat - she's a red dress fiend.

I know - it looks very flattering and is silk. Whats not to like.

Lovely from the front

Shame about the zip at the back tho.

BitOfFun · 28/07/2010 21:31

Dry-clean only though [sensible]

Will cost a tenner every time you wear it.

I do love red dresses though.

CMOTdibbler · 28/07/2010 21:32

The only thing that is stopping me buying it (and am a 14) is that it would be a bit short on me, and with deep front, deep back and the length I would look like a slut. And I have nowhere to go and look like that

BitOfFun · 28/07/2010 21:32

This is the one I have always wanted.

traceybath · 28/07/2010 21:33

Oh you see I like an exposed zip.

You are very sensible BOF.

I really want a red dress but just don't see nice ones very often.

And it would suit an apple shape too.

BOF that is va va voom

Do you like Vivienne Westwood stuff - her anglomania range is more affordable although still £££.

LTEC - how was the interview?

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 28/07/2010 21:36

Oh I do. I am thinking thin...ish though. I couldn't justify spending oodles on anything posh when I need to lose two stone.

RuthieCohen · 28/07/2010 21:40

I'm a 14 and I do love it.

However, I have nothing in the calendar that would require such a number. Even if I did, I would inevitably throw a greasy canapé sausage down it the instant I arrived.

traceybath · 28/07/2010 21:42

But Ruthie - I'm a great believer in buying good stuff when you see it.

Fast forward 4 months and you'll be searching for a party frock for christmas and wistfully remembering the one that got away.

God - I'm such an enabler.

traceybath we can't hear you

traceybath · 28/07/2010 21:48

Right am off to bed now - fully expect to see someone has bought it when I check tomorrow.

You'll have saved £100 you know.

And its a red silk dress. You always have the best time in a red dress - just ask Chris De Burgh.
