Microdermabrasion or acid peel?

Manclel peeling actually, if that makes a difference. It says no down time, so I presume it's less harsh than a full on acid peel.

I noticed on holiday that I have two wrinkles on my forehead. I also have enlarged pores and sun damage. Which treatment would I be better of looking at?

Go to a skin clinic and get proper advice. No-one on the internet can advise you without seeing your skin.

I can recommend Medicetics in Connaught Street, London.

I live miles away from London. But there is a good clinic/spa in my town I'm going to walk down either today or Sat and make an appointment to see someone.

I was just wondering what the difference was between them.

I would read this first. It is very comprehensive and should give you lots of questions to ask the specialist

Micro is just like a facial so won't address wrinkles, pores, sun damage.

I had microdermabrasion a few weeks ago , can't say it has made a massive difference .
I only really have lines around my eyes and they don't do that area . I do have number 11's which she did do and can't see any difference.

I'd be wary of having an acid peel at anywhere other than a recommended dermatologist where you seen the ingredients of the peel and their proportions.
Ask for a patch test first, if it's going all over your face and you react to it, you're stuffed.

Microdermabrasion won't do anything for wrinkles etc.
I would make sure they use brand new crystals for each person where you are thinking of, you wouldn't want anyone else's old skin coated crystals on your face!

Mandelic peel is definitely on the gentler side, so it’s a good option if you want minimal downtime. It can help with pores, mild sun damage, and overall skin texture, but won’t do much for deeper wrinkles on its own.
For forehead lines, you’d likely need something more targeted over time, but as a starting point, mandelic is a safe choice. Practitioners like Dr Ophelia Veraitch also lean toward more organic and naturally supportive skincare alongside treatments, which can be a nice balanced approach.
