Well I look better in dresses and skirts - so ner! It's a problem in weather like this though, when you don't want tights but it's a bit cool for bare legs.

More women should definitely wear more dresses and skirts. Put it this way if you look awful in trousers - a dress is going to suit your figure far better.

Me? I think I am still of sound enough mind to know the truth as it confronts me in a mirror! Trousers, especially jeans, make me look shorter and fatter than I am. I have decent-ish legs still, so look slimmer when I show them off.

Large bums and thighs should be covered by skirts surely not trousers.

Please - I measure 27 (waist) and 41 (hips), I cannot possibly wear trousers even if I wanted to (and I do want to). Sadly, trousers and jeans are relegated to 'items of the past' status for me and I feel very frumpy sometimes in my skirts and dresses even though I do like wearing them.

I do wear leggings though, also leggings with skirts and legging with dresses and I'm not stopping so there.

Generally trousers look better on men imo but big bums can pull it off if perky enough - I have a great big booty-ish ass and it would look good in trousers if only I could find them. Big flat bums are no good in trousers imo.

FranSan- seriously I think I have worn a skirt or dress fewer than 5 times in 5 years... I made a pledge earlier this summer to wear a skirt/dress at least once a week... and that lasted 2 weeks

Have spent last twenty years in trousers and the last six months gradually realising that actually dresses suit me far better. It's been a revelation!

I always think there are a lot of big-arsed women wearing trousers who obviously don't have mirrors at home.

Sometimes when I'm walking behind them I just can't stop looking at their fat wobbling arses and wondering what possessed them to go out in public looking like that.
