best face cream for thirty something stressed out skin

my skin looks tired!

i need a magic cream.botox in a tube or similar!

Someone on here said they had good experience with Olay Wake Up Wonder - I bought some and I'm loving it, my skin is looking better than it has done for ages, it just looks fresher and healthier - more even texture, smooth looking and fine lines not so noticeable.

It's quite cheap compared to some creams I have tried that haven't been half so good, plus it isn't making me break out or clogging my pores.

I like L'Oreal Youth code, although it has no SPF in it. That might defeat purpose of the anti-aging claims unless you use sunblock also.

Might try Clinique city block when it's back in stock as I'm not that impressed with MAC prep and prime.

I found Boots No7 Protect and Perfect serum very effective after exfoliating.

The Neals Yard ones are nice.

Or I like the Olay Regenerist serum.

Simple anti-ageing is brill and very inexpensive.

clinique three step is working for me at the moment, well, the last many years. i have no intention , finance allowing, of changing what works. the three step, followed by the one with the spf 30 in it for sunny days, and the eye cream. wonderful stuff

I would second the Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Serum, but its best if used with their day and night creams as well.

I used to pay a fortune for Dermalogica products, but have found the Boots stuff much better, not to mention cheaper.

You can't do better than Dermaglow in my experience. Their peptide creams (Advanced Wrinkle Therapy, Advanced Night Therapy I think) are really amazing. House of Fraser carries them I think but possibly check on their website to be sure. I find a tube lasts a long, long time as well.

Cleanser
No 7 foam wash

Toner
Dermalogica

Moisturiser
No7 Protect and Perfect Serum-for older skin (although I think it isn't a cleanser, it works as one for my skin)

Eye Cream
No 7

And their face washes too (I love the rose one), or oil cleansing method

the Boots serum worked like a miracle on me for about a month then it made me all red and flaky

Aldi - siana moisturing anti wrinkle day cream - £2 a pot. Seriously.

I used to pay £30 plus for dermlogica. My friend told me this had beat expensive creams on test on 'how to look good naked' with Gok Wan.

Tried it and loved it. been usung it for at least a year.

I'm 35 and get compliments on my skin.

They also do a night cream version.

weleda skin food at night (very greasy though) and oil of olay complete with spf for the day

the avon anew products are fab! i have been using the anew luminosity pro brightening serum and the anew night revitalising cream with a different lighter moisturiser for day time (with spf in it) avon solutions plus visual perfection spf20 and my skin has transformed from looking grey and haggard to glowing and less tired.
i'm going to buy the eye cream this brochure. very impressed, i'm usually a real product snob and buy brands such as chanel, dior, clarins etc but am swayed by these ones.
