now that autumn stock is coming into the stores?

It's as if summer is over. We have been so lucky this year and another 2 months of warmth would be great.

I like new clothes as much as anyone, and have ordered about £500 from Boden ( most will go back) but I just feel a bit sad that we are thinking about autumn already.....

oh and while we are at it, I read that Selfridges are now stocking Christmas gifts etc as summer tourists stock up when they are over. Comments were that stores may eventually do Christmas all year round...I have already spotted 2011 calendars in J Lewis and cards in the Royal Academy gift shop.

It's very annoying - I hate that I have to buy so early for the next season but if you don't it's all sold out when you need it...

We are taking our main holiday in September and so anything I need I have to get now. 'Cos I know in September all I will be able to get is gloves and opaques etc. No flip flops!
