orla kiely cliche?

is having an orla kiely bag and purse a cliche?
i've wanted one for a while now and ordered a set yesterday but my friend said i'm now a walking talking cliche for the middle classes, with my boden and white stuff clothing.
in my defence i don't wear a great deal of boden or white stuff as its a bit too mumsy for me and prefer to shop at asos, new look, and a few online stores as well as making my own skirts.
i don;t think i'm a cliche as i can;t accessorise to save my life and struggle when buying necklaces, earrings etc and would rather depend on my failthful old mulberry bags or other good quality leather handbags, i just fancied a change with the orla kiely.

I have a few Orla Kiely bags and I'm sitting here wearing a Boden dress. I feel a crisis of confidence is about to hit me.

I think you should buy them if you like them. What is the point of buying something that isn't 'you' just so your friend doesn't think you are a cliche?

Nice friend. Please yerself and ignore her I say.

yes i think i will ignore her. she is a good friend but quite opinionated, so i should have learnt to just carry on as i was by now.
my bag arrived today, was here when i got in from work and it is very lovely. straps slightly too short to be an across body one on me though (size 18/20 and a g in the nork dept)
