DIY fake tan

Please can you recommend me your favourite (but hopefully not to pricy) home fake tan?

I've tried those tanning moisturisers in the past but just went a bit orange and smelled of biscuits. I've got a family wedding coming up and would like to look something other than pasty for a change

L'oreal sublime bronze - it's a in a spray can, about £12 and dead easy to use with a great colour. Does pong of biscuits though I'm afraid

St tropez mouse is excellent. Though it does smell as they all seem to.

Use gloves (not the latex ones - you will smell of fresh condom)

Thank you. A biscuity condom smell doesn't really bear thinking about!

AVON Skin So Soft - soft and glow body lotion is the BEST (in my opinion).
Just use like a regular body lotion, the colour will build up gradually and fade after a few days, just like a real tan.
It also has SPF15.
You can get it in 2 shades- fair/med and med/dark.
and is cheap too!
