Anyone tried a good cellulite cream?

I know they can't shift it completely but I'm going to buy one anyway before my hols so any recommendations?

Or ones to avoid?

I tried the Nivea 10 day cellulite serum (can't remember exact name but usually costs around £11 and was on offer in Boots for a fiver). It definitely made a difference to the appearance of the skin on my legs but it is a short-lived effect.

Have also used the Nivea Q10 body cream (in a jar rather than a bottle) a few years ago which was also pretty good.

Body brushing daily before you shower (towards the heart), drinking loads of water, avoiding salted foods and alcohol, and slathering your legs in any non-mineral based moisturiser using a mixture of gentle kneading and long firm strokes, will also be of great benefit

oh and if you feel like splashing out, the Mama Mio products are fabulous and do work, ime, but not with lasting effects, iyswim..

Cool might give the Nivea a go, thanks.

I saw an article about the Biotherm one but it's about £40 and don't think I can justify it unless it definitely works!

I trained as a massage therapist a couple of years ago and we used to take turns in classes massaging each other to practice. My cellulite (which goes from quite bad to really bad!) never looked better, and this was just with basic almond or grapeseed oil.

So I think it's the massage that does it, oil lasts ages and if you can get yourself to a beauty wholesaler like Sally Beauty it's about £10 for 500ml.

Interesting - I've been body brushing too so will maybe start massaging in preparation, thank you.

If cellulite cream worked, everyone would use it, and there'd be no cellulite, but it doesn't, so the cellulite is still there.

It's the same as stretch mark creams - bollocks.

Or hair restorers - bollocks.

Just think - if they worked, there'd be no problem, would there? No-one would be posting about it.

I have cellulite, thinning hair and stretch marks. Actually, the latter are nearly gone.....at 55.
