If anyone can help me find it, or something similar I will be forever in your debt.
it was a monsoon dress, lime green, sleeveless, with a rounded neckline. Empire waist with multicoloured beading. It was knee-length and was made from a floaty material

Good luck with the hunt MrsChemist... I knew my googling skills would one day serve a useful purpose

I'd go for metallic accesories too I think, depending on the shade of green though.

I got it! Yay! It was half price, double Yay!
I also got a gold cuff with some etched in detailing. It's simple but goes well with the dress. Might get a few more in a few days.

Just looking for the shoes now. I saw these in town today, but they are a bit out of my price range. (They look more golden in the shop)

I wandered around town for hours and couldn't see any others that I felt were formal enough, or went with the dress. I'm thinking gold/brown to go with the dark gold beading.

Fantastic news! Hope the christening goes as well as the dress hunt

sorry about the double post... was testing out my new phone and confused myself!

I saw it in my local Monsoon tody, and it's gorgeous! - I love the detailing, but in the flesh the colours come out more than the gold, I felt. I'd be tempted to go in that direction - but then I love clashing colours. I wore a purple dress with pink shoes and cardi for my daughter's baptism!

But I think the gold would be more flexible, and if you've got a cuff, I think that maybe little gold pumps would be nice (and easy on the feet). Office have these copper and gold pumps. I prefer the copper, as the gold looks a little 'much' but they way work better in rl, plus they're onl a fiver!

Or if you want heels, New Look have some yummy wedges and ASOS have these bar shoes.
